SEARCHED FOR: Bharat Interface for Money

Indian Railways has introduced the facility of booking railway tickets on Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) app based on the Unified Payment Interface (UPI). 

To promote digital transaction, Narendra Modi government has extended the cash back scheme for merchants who accepts payment through the newly launched BHIM application till March 2018

Customers and merchants using RuPay card, BHIM, UPI, USSD-based and Aadhaar-enabled Payment Service are eligible for daily and weekly lucky draw prizes for digital payment.

Transactions worth Rs 361 crore have so far been made using the newly-launched Bhim application for mobile phones, Lok Sabha was informed.

Government will soon roll out Aadhaar Pay service that will enable people to make and receive payments using their Aadhaar number and biometrics.
