As per Samsung, the company has also removed ads from the Samsung health app on October 1. “This is the Samsung Health Operation Manager. Please note that the banner at the top of the Samsung Health app will not be provided from October 1,” the company said.

While Samsung has confirmed the removal of ads from the Samsung Health app only, other apps like Weather and Samsung Themes are also expected to stop showing ads in the coming days.

It is reported that Samsung phones, like those from , include ads in their UI. Whether one buys a budget Samsung smartphone or a high-end flagship device, Samsung users complain about how annoying it is to see ads in the UI and Samsung first-party apps. Despite paying a higher price for the high-end devices, they were shown ads every time any Samsung app is accessed.

According to an earlier report, Samsung may continue to provide “information” through search and recommendations. This means, while the ads may be removed from Samsung's first-party apps, users will continue to see ads on the Galaxy Store.
