Kyndryl, Veeam partner to push business continuity and data protection services

The partnership leverages Kyndryl's managed security services and infrastructure management capabilities along with Veeam's technology to provide customers with data protection, ransomware recovery, cost optimisation, regulatory compliance, and data mobility across cloud-native and Kubernetes environments.

, a spin-off of IBM's infrastructure services business and data protection firm have announced the formation of a global strategic alliance aimed at bolstering cyber resiliency for businesses.

The partnership is designed to enhance business continuity, reduce operational costs, and improve agility through a range of cyber resiliency services. As part of the alliance, Kyndryl has been designated a Veeam Accredited Service Partner (VASP), said a statement.

Debbie Nevin, Vice President of Global Alliances at Kyndryl said: “Our partnership with Veeam enables us to support our customers' business continuity posture and ability to recover from increasingly more sophisticated cyber incidents.”

Both the company said that the collaboration is set to offer customers a comprehensive suite of services including cyber resilience planning, simplified vendor transitions, modern data protection solutions, and enhanced operational efficiencies.

These services are intended to help businesses effectively manage and recover from various adverse conditions such as cyber incidents, human errors, and hardware failures, according to a statement.
