has introduced global managed services that company says will work with its customer for managing their operation and technology. The company claimed that its managed services will offer near real-time insight and reporting, managing over 9,000 IP networks and supporting over 13 million users across the globe.

“Our global managed services and delivery platform has re-engineered the end-to-end client journey, radically simplifying IT operations management and eliminating the pressure of day-to-day operations, while also allowing clients to take advantage of Dimension Data's relationship with other NTT companies and best-of-breed solution providers,” said Bill Padfield, Group COO of Transformation and Services at Dimension Data.

Dimension Data says its approach to managed services builds on managing and integrating multi-vendor solutions by bringing together cross-technology portfolio of managed services, delivered through a single scalable and secure platform.

“We chose Dimension Data because our main core business is not IT, it's scientific data production. We are a small IT team and we need support from a company that has all the expertise that we don't have. Dimension Data provides us with all the expertise we don't have – and we don't need to have,” said Christian Saldias, IT Manager at ALMA, a customer.

In India, Dimension Data is working with some of the largest banks including State Bank of India (SBI). In April 2018, the company helped the bank in setting up 60 digital branches across the country.

Dimension Data set up Digital Branches and enabled SBI to create a virtual pool of experts and specialists, co-located in strategic centres or dispersed across the organisation. It provided SBI's users with an immersive audio and visual experience with the added ability to print, scan and share the document using touchscreen controls. That helped in creating an instant connection with the customer in real-time, thereby ensuring that SBI doesn't lose a potential customer.
