Atos launches cybersecurity portfolio for healthcare market

has launched its first comprehensive solution for healthcare market. The full offering extends from security consulting services to now including managed security services, cloud security and identity management, increasing security at all levels of patient care.

Atos said it works with almost 300 healthcare organizations across the U.S. alone to evaluate their strategy against cyber threats, modernize technology foundations, and secure valuable patient data. Atos' full cybersecurity offering now includes three security services in addition to its consulting services – Managed Security Services, Cloud Security and Identity Management.

Atos' managed security services implement security incident and even management, security operations, endpoint threat prevention and advanced threat detection for healthcare organizations. Atos Cloud Security offers data loss prevention, encryption and cloud access security broker services to help healthcare organizations secure their cloud ecosystems.

Identity management enables health organizations to secure patient information by controlling and auditing access to confidential data through biometrics, two factor and public key infrastructure (PKI) authentication, as well as other various authentication methods.

The healthcare security offering is an expansion of Atos' Digital Health Solutions portfolio to help payers, providers, pharmaceutical and life science companies enhance the technical efficiency of healthcare delivery.
