PDRL, Pavaman Aviation join hands to pep-up drone pilot training and certification

Nashik-based software technology company has entered into a strategic partnership with , a drone solutions provider, to enhance the reach and effectiveness of drone technology applications. Alongside this partnership, PDRL has launched a certification program for its AeroMegh platform, designed to elevate the expertise of professionals in the drone industry, said a statement.

The alliance between PDRL and Hyderabad-based Pavaman Aviation seeks to leverage the unique strengths of both companies. Pavaman Aviation brings to the table its vast experience in agricultural drone solutions and is in the process of setting up a manufacturing facility in Hyderabad. This facility is anticipated to be key in advancing and certification, aligning with the objectives of PDRL's newly introduced certification program.

PDRL said its certification program is structured around the AeroMegh platform, a comprehensive Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution encompassing the full spectrum of drone data management tasks, including acquisition, processing, analysis, and flight operations.

According to a senior executive, the program is tailored to equip professionals with critical skills for navigating the complexities of the rapidly evolving drone industry, culminating in the achievement of a PDRL certified drone professional designation.

This partnership and certification program are set against the backdrop of a rapidly growing drone industry, which is witnessing an increasing demand for skilled professionals. PDRL's CEO Anil Chandaliya, said, “PDRL has initiated a mission to certify 10,000 professionals on the AeroMegh platform. Partnering with Pavaman Aviation undoubtedly speeds up this progress.”

“This collaboration marks a noteworthy achievement in PDRL's commitment to narrowing down the skill gap between the rising demand and the availability of certified professionals. Together, we will accelerate the development of skilled resources and promote more job opportunities within the industry, with the ultimate goal of positioning India as a ‘Global Drone Hub' by 2030,” Chandaliya added.
