MAXON CEO David McGavran rejigs top leadership team

Months after a change in management that took place at Computer GmbH when the three original founders and serving managing directors of the company, Uwe Bärtels, Harald Egel and Harald Schneider decided to step back and retire, the new has rejigged the top leadership of the company.

Now, Philip Losch, Chief Technology Architect, will take care of technical aspects of development. While Oliver Meiseberg as Chief Product Officer will focus on making sure MAXON products are shaped with a customer-centric emphasis.

On the other hand, Paul Babb, Head of Worldwide Marketing in a new role will expand his focus to serve and support the global Cinema 4D community. While in her new role, Friederike Bruckert, Head of Worldwide Sales will be responsible for managing the company's worldwide sales team and sales partner network.

Gesa Häfner, Head of Human Resources and Legal will drive worldwide HR, legal and employee experience. Karsten Jancke, Director of Engineering who joined in 2015 will continue in his role as Director of Engineering. Similarly, Dieter Bothof, Director of IT will continue in his role of IT-Director, responsible for the technological infrastructure to meet the needs of all company's offices worldwide.

The executive leadership team changes effective immediately and they all will report to McGavran.

Headquartered in Friedrichsdorf, Germany, MAXON Computer is a developer of professional 3D modeling, animation and rendering solutions. Its Cinema 4D and BodyPaint 3D software products are used for creating visual effects in feature films, TV shows and commercials,  game cinematics for AAA games, as well for medical illustration, architectural and industrial design applications. MAXON has offices in Germany, USA, United Kingdom, Canada, France, Japan and Singapore.
