Edelweiss Tokio Life onboards Kayzad Hiramanek as​ next COO

In his new role, Hiramanek will lead and execute the company’s operations, technology and business excellence efforts.

Global insurance major, Life Insurance has announced to onboard Kayzad Hiramanek as the new chief operating officer. According to the company, Hiramanek is a seasoned professional who brings 2.5 decades of experience in managing operations, technology, and customer experience strategy for businesses across sectors.

In his new role, he will lead and execute the company's operations, technology and business excellence efforts to elevate scalability, agility, and cost efficiencies within the business.

“Under his functional stewardship, the company aspires to build operational resilience and sustainability to weather through business cycles and any unprecedented events,” Edelweiss Tokio said.

Edelweiss Tokio Life is a private sector insurance provider established in 2011. The company is a joint venture between Edelweiss Group of India and Tokio Marine Holdings Inc Japan.

Meanwhile, in his previous experience, he has played an instrumental role in defining the operations and customer experience strategy for companies like Bajaj Allianz Life Insurance, ICICI Prudential Life Insurance, and Avantha Ergo Life Insurance. He has also been associated with Bharti Airtel, Idea Cellular, Taj Hotels and more in the past
