As digital adoption accelerates across public services, academic institutions and private enterprises, the need for robust cyber resilience and trusted digital infrastructure has become more pressing than ever. Protecting data, securing emerging AI systems and building cyber-ready talent are now central to ensuring that the region’s digital progress remains sustainable, secure and future-proof.

The Bharat Cyber Suraksha – North-East Cyber Resilience & AI Transformation Summit, to be held on 24 February 2026 in Guwahati, is a strategic national thought leadership platform aimed at advancing cyber resilience, digital trust and AI readiness across the North-East. Anchored in collaboration between government, academia, industry and the technology ecosystem, the Summit positions Guwahati as the cyber and AI gateway for the region.

A key highlight of the Summit will be the release of the “Bharat Cyber Suraksha – North-East Cyber Resilience & Digital Readiness Report 2025”, which will present data-driven insights and actionable recommendations on strengthening cybersecurity frameworks, skilling pipelines, data protection mechanisms and resilient digital infrastructure across the North-Eastern states.

Through focused discussions, the Summit will explore pathways for enhancing cyber resilience in public and private institutions, building university-led cybersecurity and AI talent ecosystems, establishing Cyber Resilience Centres of Excellence, advancing a robust North-East data corridor, and fostering strategic partnerships with global technology leaders and system integrators.

As part of the broader initiative, the Summit will also mark the proposed flag-off of the “Bharat Cyber Suraksha – Main Ho Saksham” awareness and skilling bus, designed to reach universities and institutions across the North-East, driving cyber awareness, job-ready digital skills and confidence among students and faculty—laying the foundation for a secure, skilled and AI-ready region.
