One of India's largest government employer has put out notification stating that it aims to hire about 62,907 group D employee under . All the candidates who wish pursue a career with Indian Railways can go to the official website of the Indian Railways at to check the details and apply. According to the notification, the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) is seeking applications from eligible candidates to apply for various posts in level 1 of 7th CPC pay matrix in various units of Indian railways. The last date of application is March 7, 2018. The Regional Railway Recruitment Boards are hosting this vacancy under CEN 02/2018 notification on their respective websites. So candidates need to go to their regional railway website to apply.

RRB recruitment 2018 Vacancy details

There are about 62,907 vacancies which includes: Track Maintainer Grade IV (Trackman, Gangman, Pointsman, Switchman, and Helpers in electrical/engineering/mechanical/signal and telecommunication department, Porter.

Railway recruitment 2018 eligibility criteria

Railway recruitment 2018 eligibility criteria involved educational qualification, age limit and technical knowledge.

Education Qualification

Aspirants should have passed class 10 or ITI from institutions recognised by NCVT/SCVT (or) equivalent (or) should be holding a national apprenticeship certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT

Or

Class 10 pass plus national apprenticeship certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT (or) 10th pass plus ITI from institutions recognised by NCVT/SCVT.

Age limit

The age of the candidates should be maximum 31 years and minimum 18 years. Relaxation in age will be provided as per government norms for reserved categories and people with special needs.

RRB recruitment 2018 Pay scale

The selected candidates will get a monthly salary of Rs 18,000 per month + Allowances.

Step 2 – Click on Recruitment tab
Step 3 – Click on the Railway Recruitment Board for which you wish to apply
Step 4 – Click on ‘Click here to Apply for CEN 02/2018'
Step 5 – Register Yourself, fill the application form, upload documentation, pay the application fee and complete the application process
Step 6 – Download the confirmation page and take a printout for further reference

Unreserved Category – ₹500
SC/ST/PWD/Women/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward/Ex-Serviceman – ₹250
Application fee can be paid online and offline both.
