ServiceNow buys NetACE to boost telco workflow offerings

The integration of NetACE into the ServiceNow platform is expected to facilitate comprehensive network lifecycle management for telcos, utilising a single, AI-first digital workflow platform.

MWC Barcelona—Workflow automation firm said it has signed an agreement to acquire the network management and automation technology from . The acquisition is scheduled for completion in Q2 of 2024. The financial details of the transaction were not disclosed.

The integration of NetACE into the ServiceNow platform is expected to facilitate comprehensive network lifecycle management for telcos, utilising a single, AI-first digital workflow platform.

The company said that telcos often challenged by the lack of efficient tools for network management and reliant on manual processes will benefit from the added capabilities of Atrinet's NetACE.

The digital workflow automation firm said with new capabilities it aims to improve connectivity within telco workflows and ensure greater network alignment, from initial sales to service activation and assurance.

“The power of ServiceNow is its ability to connect the entire telecommunications stack on a single platform,” said Rohit Batra, general manager, telecom, media, and technology industries at ServiceNow.

“By adding Atrinet's discovery and activation capabilities into our Telecom industry products, we're helping service providers manage the entire network lifecycle—driving productivity up and costs down,” Batra added.

By incorporating Atrinet's NetACE, ServiceNow plans to enable telcos to streamline network processes such as discovery, activation, and incident management from a unified platform. Atrinet's cloud-native product suite, known for its low-code approach to automating network management processes, will also be part of the offering.

Founded in 2013, Atrinet is headquartered in Hod-Hasharon, Israel.

Concurrently, ServiceNow has partnered with NVIDIA to introduce generative AI solutions for telcos and announced a collaboration with Segra to launch a new case and incident management solution.
