Tel Aviv-based Israeli startup said that it has signed a distribution agreement with Promark, a subsidiary of Ingram Micro. Under the agreement, Promark will now offer resellers and system integrators MinerEye's DataTracker, an AI-based data governance solution that allows companies to identify, classify and track vast information assets including undermanaged, unstructured and dark data.

“Promark and MinerEye will enable companies to conduct accurate and rapid data classification, to reduce security risks and as part of cloud migration initiatives – which virtually all integrators are incorporating into their data storage approach,” stated MinerEye CEO Yaniv Avidan.

Earlier in an interview with The Innovator, Avidan had said that about 30 large corporates in the Fortune 1000 including manufacturers, food and beverage companies and big banks were testing the technology globally.

The company develops software for data security and management using artificial intelligence to identify and track sensitive information stored in company databases.

MinerEye was founded in 2015 by Avidan, Avner Atias and Gideon Barak, three friends who met each other while completing their tour in the Israeli Defense Forces.
