Mark Duff replaces Louis F. Centofanti at Perma-Fix Environmental Services

Perma-Fix Environmental Services announced that Mark Duff will succeed Dr. Louis F. Centofanti as as CEO of Perma-Fix Environmental Services.

Perma-Fix Environmental Services announced that will succeed as as CEO of Perma-Fix Environmental Services. Centofanti will continue to serve as Executive V.P. of Strategic Initiatives and an executive member of the Board of Directors. Before this elevation Duff was serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.

Duff joined Perma-Fix in June 2016 and brings over 30 years of management and technical experience in nuclear material processing, management and decommissioning. He has successfully delivered services to the nuclear industry, Department of Energy (DOE) and Department of Defense (DOD), environmental and construction markets as a corporate officer, senior project manager, consulting firm co-founder, and federal employee.

Prior to joining Perma-Fix, Duff oversaw the successful completion of over 70 performance-based projects at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PGDP) in Paducah, KY, where he served as the Project Manager for the Paducah Remediation Contract, a five-year project with a total value of $458 million.

Perma-Fix Environmental Services is a nuclear services company and provider of nuclear and mixed waste management services. The Company's nuclear waste services include management and treatment of radioactive and mixed waste for hospitals, research labs and institutions, federal agencies, including the Department of Energy (“DOE”), the Department of Defense (“DOD”), and the commercial nuclear industry.

The Company's nuclear services group provides project management, waste management, environmental restoration, decontamination and decommissioning, and radiological protection, safety and industrial hygiene capability to our clients. The Company operates four nuclear waste treatment facilities and provides nuclear services at DOE, DOD, and commercial facilities, nationwide.

Duff received his undergraduate degree from the University of Alabama and an MBA from the University of Phoenix.
