BenQ launches 4K home cinema projectors W5700, W2700, price starts at 2.49 lacs

The newly launched 4K home projectors features DCI-P3 color and promise to deliver CinematicColor with projector-optimized HDR-PRO support and individual factory color calibration. The projectors come with wireless free connoisseur-grade image quality and personalized customizability.

is available now at a price of Rs 2.49 lacs and W5700 begins shipping Q1 2019 at the price of Rs. 2.99 lacs.

Both CinePrime models deliver 4K performance with 3840×2160 resolution and 8.3 million distinct pixels for each frame. Utilizing a pristine 4K-optimized optical system with six structured groups of all-glass lens elements for light transmission and image quality, W5700 and W2700 produce clarity and sharpness across the entire screen, said the company.

Leveraging CinematicColor technology, W5700 provides 100% coverage of the super wide DCI-P3 color space and 100% of Rec. 709 while W2700 covers 94% of DCI-P3 and 100% of Rec. 709, backed by individual factory color calibration reports ensuring Delta E3 color accuracy.

W5700 and W2700 with proprietary HDR-PRO technology specifically optimized for projection. Supporting both HDR10 and HLG formats, HDR-PRO incorporates auto color and tone mapping techniques to offer brightness and contrast ranges as well as ideal image optimization, bringing out 4K clarity and depth for vividly natural and realistic video quality.
