Accenture to acquire data analytics firm BRIDGEi2i to scale up data science capabilities

Accenture's Applied Intelligence group will gain over 800 highly talented employees as a result of the purchase, bolstering and scaling its worldwide capabilities in data science, machine learning, and AI-powered insights.

, a global professional services organisation, announced the acquisition of , a Bengaluru-based (AI) and analytics firm with additional locations in the United States and Australia, for an undisclosed price on Tuesday.

Accenture's Applied Intelligence group will gain over 800 highly talented employees as a result of the purchase, bolstering and scaling its worldwide capabilities in data science, machine learning, and AI-powered insights.

“In this rapidly evolving space, constantly building new capabilities is key, and we believe that BRIDGEi2i will further enhance our AI skills and data science capabilities to strengthen how our global network delivers value for clients,” said Sanjeev Vohra, global lead for Accenture Applied Intelligence.

BRIDGEi2i, founded in 2011, is a data-driven digital transformation company that combines data engineering, sophisticated analytics, proprietary AI accelerators, and consulting services for businesses across industries and global marketplaces.

Accenture is on a global acquisition spree in the analytics, data, and artificial intelligence (AI) space, acquiring companies such as Analytics8 in Australia, Pragsis Bidoop in Spain, Mudano in the United Kingdom, Byte Prophecy in India, Sentelis in France, and Clarity Insights in the United States.
