Milind Kulkarni joins Vikram Solar as CTO

Mumbai — Solar energy solutions firm Limited has appointed as Chief Technical Officer (). Kulkarni's role will be critical in product & technology development and manufacturing, design & process development while supporting the company's expansion and achieving a technological breakthrough, said a statement from the company.

Prior to joining Vikram Solar, Kulkarni has served in various roles with entities including Suzlon, Svagos Technik, GCL Solar Materials, SunEdison and MEMC Electronic Materials. He has also authored and co-authored over 70 international journal publications, patents, conference presentations, plenary talks, and book chapters, collectively.

With a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and a master's degree in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis, Kulkarni has a diverse experience spanning 24 years in the fields of technology development and deployment, product development, application engineering & pre-sales, and has profound market intelligence & insight-led decision-making ability. He has rich experience in the renewables sector and is also experienced in various leadership roles across semiconductor technology and solar energy said the company.
