India’s enterprise landscape is transforming rapidly as organisations across technology, fintech, healthcare, defence, government, and critical infrastructure accelerate cloud adoption, deploy AI-driven applications and digitise mission-critical operations. Chennai sit at the centre of this shift, housing many of the country’s most influential institutions.
But this momentum has also widened the attack surface significantly, exposing enterprises to growing cyber risk as digital ecosystems become more complex, distributed, and harder to secure. The 2026 Thales Data Threat Report highlights the scale of the challenge: 58% of Indian organisations report attacks on AI apps, 65% have faced deepfake incidents, and 68% see rising credential theft. Meanwhile, only 48% of sensitive cloud data is encrypted, just 35% know where all their data resides, and 75% use five or more protection tools.
Against this backdrop of rising risk and regulatory pressure, Thales and Tech Observer Magazine are hosting this Leadership Knowledge Session to bring together CIOs, CTOs, and Application Security Heads for peer-driven dialogue on practical strategies, architectures and emerging technologies to secure enterprise at scale.
