UPSC CDS II exam results 2016 declared at upsc.gov.in, here’s how to check

Finally after a long wait the  CDS II 2016 have been declared. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) which is nodal agency to conduct these exams have declared at its website – upsc.gov.in. According to reports the board will put out the marks within 15 days of the declaration of the final result.

Now all the students who have appeared for can visit the website of UPSC and download their results. According to reports, this year, about 328 candidates have qualified for the interview rounds which will be held by (SSB) of the Ministery of Defence soon. As per the rule of Combined Defence Services Examination (II) those who qualify the interview rounds  will be selected for the Officers Training Academy in Chennai.

According to Combined Defence Services Examination (II) 2016 notification, there are 175 vacancies for men in the 106th Short Service Commission Course and 11 positions for women in the Commission's non-technical course. In a declared results, about 258 men and 70 women have cleared the exam.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is an organisation that works under the central government to recruit staff for various posts in the various ministries and departments, and in subordinate offices. UPSC is most popularly known for conducting exams for civil services. It has recently released UPSC Civil Services (Mains) Exam 2017 notification inviting applications from eligible candidates to fill the Detailed Application Form. Candidates eligible to appear for the UPSC Civil Services (Mains) Exam this year are required to submit their “DAF's” in an online mode before the last date on August 31, 2017.
