After completing the online application process for  – Phase V on October 7, 2017, now the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is working on the modalities to announce the date for computer based examination. The SSC Selection Post Exam is an annual test conducted by SSC for recruitment of junior level officers for various central government departments. Since the central government has decided to dispensed with interviews for junior level posts, now the entire selection process will rely on written examination.

All information relating SSC Selection Post Exam 2017 – Phase V right from the status of application upto the nomination of the selected candidates to the concern department including call letters for computer based mode examination to the provisionally eligible candidates will be made available on the website of Staff Selection Commission – ssc.nic.in.

SSC Selection Post Exam 2017 – Phase V Dates

The candidates will be called for written examination on the basis of their percentage of marks in their qualification examination as indicated by them in their application form. The marks will be verified after the computer based examination, even a candidate qualifies but failed to meet the eligibility criteria will not be considered for selection. According to SSC, candidates will be shortlisted in the ratio of 1:50. It mean 50 candidates will be called for written exam for every post.

Three separate examinations consisting of objective/multiple choice questions with minimum educational qualification of Matriculation, Higher Secondary and Graduation & above levels will be held in different shifts. There will be negative marking of 0.50 marks for each wrong answer. Answer Keys will be placed on the Commission‟s website after the Examination. Candidates may go through the Answer Keys corresponding to their Test Form and submit representations, if any within the time limit given by the Commission through on-line modality only, on payment of Rs.100 per answer.

Final merit list of will be drawn on the basis of performance in Computer Based SSC Selection Post Exam 2017 – Phase V.
