The results of both of these exams show a very poor state of affairs of teacher in India. While in Bihar only 17% candidates could pass the BTET 2017, the Gujarat could touch only 23%. Out of 214715 candidates who appeared for Gujarat government TET examination this year, only 50755 could passed it. Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test 2 is a state level exam organised by Gujarat State Examination Board (GSEB). This examination is compulsory for those who wants to teach in government school in the state.
