IBPS RRB scale 1 officer prelims 2017: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has completed the Preliminary Examination for RRB Officer Scale-I recruitment today. In addition of today's exam, IBPS will conduct exam on 10th & 16th September 2017 and Office Assistant Prelims on 17th, 23rd & 24th September 2017 across the country. This year IBPS has announced approximately 16560 vacancies in Regional Rural Banks.
According to experts today's exam was of easy-moderate level. The exams took place in four shifts. Most of the questions were as per syllabus and would have been expected by the candidates, therefore it is possible that cut off could go high compared to last year as large number of student would have solved more question.
As given in the notification, there are two sections in IBPS RRB officer scale 1 prelims exam 2017 – Reasoning, and Quantitative Aptitude. Both the sections have 40 questions in each section and they have to be solved within 45 minutes.

Quantitative Aptitude section was easy-moderate. Following were the types of data interpretation sets:

This section was also not very tough. It was moderate. The level of reasoning was not difficult. There were four seating arrangements and puzzles:

One of the expert suggested that “students having their exam scheduled on other days can practice all these topics” as they are likely to have similar type of questions.
