Gujarat TET 2 Result 2017 has been declared by State Examination Board of Gujarat's Education department on Monday. Now, the candidates who have appeared in examination can go to the official website of the board to check their results. Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test 2 is a state level exam organised by (GSEB). This examination is compulsory for those who wants to teach in government school in the state of Gujarat. This year Gujarat TET 2 was conducted on August 20.

The result of Gujarat Teacher Eligibility Test (Paper II) examination result generally announced within 30 days of the examination tentatively at the website of the Gujarat State Examination Board and same has been done. Out of 214,715 candidates who appeared in the exam, only 50,755 qualified, which is a pass percentage of 23.64%.

The objective of the establishment of State Examination Board is to arrange examination, graduate level and post graduate level examinations and awarding different professional Diploma and Certificates for General knowledge, knowledge of different subjects like Sports, Drawing, Architecture of the students studying in the various schools and high schools. The intention of the Examination Board is to see that students get employment and self-employment thru different examinations. In November, 1966, the State Examination Board was established by the Gujarat Education Department to administer examinations at the different Primary, Secondary and Higher Secondary level. This Board has been declared ‘Autonomous' by a notification of the Education Department in 1999.
