DTE Maharashtra MHT CET 2017: which is a nodal agency to conduct Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT CET 2017) has released the engineering provisional allotment list for CAP Round II at the official website — dtemaharashtra.gov.in.

According to reports, large number of candidates have appeared for nearly 1.3 lakh engineering seats and 36 thousand seats in pharmacy course across the state. Now, all the aspirants can check their names in the list. All the successful students now will be able take admission into the first year of Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) across colleges and institutes in Maharashtra.

Every year, DTE Maharashtra prepare the allotment list on the basis of the results of Maharashtra Health and Technical Common Entrance Test (MHT CET 2017). Last year, while 53 students scored between 191 and 200 in the 200-mark test, 306 students scored between 181 and 190. The number of students scoring between 171 and 180 are 713. Only 22 students scored less than 10, reported Indian Express.

This year more than 3.7 lakh students appeared for the entrance test. Out of these 2.83 candidates took the test for admission to engineering only, while, 2.37 students appeared for both engineering and pharmacy courses. The results for CAP Round 3 will be displayed on July 16. While the candidates will be able to change and confirm the option from July 16 to 19. The provisional allotment of CAP Round 3 will be published on July 21.

How to check DTE Maharashtra MHT CET 2017 allotment results

  1. Visit the official website for MHT CET – dtemaharashtra.gov.in
  2. On the hompage, click on the link flashing MHT CET merit list.
  3. A new page will open. Enter your application ID and date of birth in the field provided.
  4. Download the merit list and keep a copy for further reference.

According to DTE, the role of the Directorate is to maintain, enhance the standard, quality of technical education by laying the policies, establishing developing government institutions, guiding supervising the aided, private institutions, interacting with industry and national level institutions, coordinating with other departments of state government, government of India statutory organisations and to contribute to the development of industry society at large.
