CSBC says sorry for technical glitch, Bihar Police Constable Admit Card 2017 to be released at 6 pm today

Central Selection Board of Constable (CSBC), which is nodal agency of the Bihar government to conduct constable recruitment exam said on Sunday that Bihar Police Constable Admit Card 2017 will be released after 6 pm today.

Contrary to media reports that Police Constable Admit Card 2017 has been released, the (CSBC), which is nodal agency of the Bihar government to conduct recruitment exam for constable said on Sunday that Bihar Police Constable Admit Card 2017 will be released at 6 pm today. In a notification on its website, CSBC apologised for the delay and technical issue and said it will released admit card at 6 pm on Sunday.

Yesterday, since morning news portal have been running stories that admit card has been published. In fact, they gave the option of how to download at the CSBC website. But in reality no admit card was released and there was no online link to download the admit card. The candidates who have applied for this examination were confused as they were not getting any credible reports as to when admit card will be released. CSBC had earlier said that admit card would be released on September 23 at 5 pm but due to technical glitch, it could not be done.

Once, released the admit card will be available for download from CSBC website –csbc.bih.nic.in. According to CSBC, candidates need to download e-Admit card from board website and they need to keep the admit card till the end of entire selection process. CSBC is conducting Bihar Police Constable Recruitment 2017 exam to fill the vacancy of 9900 constable in Bihar Police. Earlier, it has released a notification stating that it will organise Bihar Police Constable 2017 recruitment test in the month of October 2017. The examination is scheduled to be held on October 15 in two shifts—from 10 am to 12 noon and from 2 pm to 4 pm and one more shift is planned on October 22, between 10 am to 12 noon.

The recruitment exam will be held in two phase – written and physical test. All the candidates who passed the first written, will appear for physical test. The final merit list will be created based on the physical test. The written examination is a qualifying examination. The written test will be of multiple choice objective type. 100 questions of 100 marks will have to be solved within 2 hours. The questions will come from subjects like Hindi, English, Math, Social Study (History, Geography and politics) and General Science (Physics, Chemistry and Biology). The paper will be of Class 12th standard. The exam will be conducted in offline mode. All the candidates who successfully clear the written examination will be asked to appear in the physical test. According to CSBC, any candidate who finds any discrepancy in the details of the admit card, they should immediately report the board. So, the error could be rectified on time.

Steps to download Bihar Police Constable Admit Card 2017

  • Step 1: Go to official website of the CSBC – csbc.bih.nic.in , search for latest notification.
  • Step 2: Click on the notification on home page that says about downloading e-Admit Card for Constable Examination
  • Step 3: It will take you to another page, there you may have to enter details like date of birth, registration number or roll number
  • Step 4: Submit the form, your Bihar Police Constable Admit Card 2017 will be displayed on the screen
  • Step 5: Download it or take a print copy for your reference.
