Live Updates on CBSE Class 12 2017: Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has declared Senior School Certificate Examination (Class XII) 2017 results for all the CBSE regions today. Now the results are available at www.results.nic.in, www.cbseresults.nic.in , www.cbse.nic.in. Board said that the result will not be made available in the Board office and hence public should not visit Board's office for collection of results.

Board in a statement said today that “as per previous years, this year also the CBSE is hosting its results on net with the technical support of National Informatics Centre (NIC), Department of Information Technology, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Govt. of India.”

There has been confusion and speculation over results announcements, after Delhi High Court directed CBSE not to scrap the mark moderation policy that it had been following since 1992. According to reports, CBSE will announce the results without inflating marks as agreed in its meeting with 31 boards in April, 2017 when they decided to scrap the marks moderation policy.

Earlier, the results for Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) for Senior Secondary School Certificate (Class 12th) exam  for all region will be declared on May 28, said PTI. After the Delhi High Court order on continuation of marks moderation policy, there is uncertainty as to when the board would announce the results. According to media reports, board will not challenge the HC order and will declare results either on Sunday.

Board is likely to make the announcement for Class 12 results today on its website. Quoting an official, English Daily HT reported “Results will be declared in light of the High Court's directions and keeping our declared five-point moderation policy in mind. There will be strictly no spiking of marks and the decision taken in the April meeting will also be followed.” “If not Saturday, the official added, result will certainly be declared by Sunday.”

Once announced, the results can be accessed online at cbseresults.nic.in, results.nic.in or . In addition,  will also be available on SMS and IVR.

After the Delhi High Court order on continuation of marks moderation policy, there is uncertainty as to when the board would announce the results. Earlier, talking to reporters, Union HRD minister has said that results will be announced on time and board will intimate 24 hours in advance. Last year, results were announced on May 21, 2016.

Last week many reports suggested that CBSE board Class 12 results could be announced on May 24, 2017. This year examinations were delayed due to Assembly polls in five states, however the board had said that it would be able to announce the CBSE Class 12 results 2017 and on time. Board is likely to announce Class 12th results tomorrow and Class 10th results on June 2.

As many as 10.98 lakh students have appeared for the Class 12 exams this year which were conducted in the month of March and April.
