There is a good news for lakh of students who have been waiting for Assam HSLC results, the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) has declared Assam HSLC 10th Results 2017.
According to report, nearly 3.8 lakh students have appeared for Assam 10th exam. Now the HSLC 10th Results 2017 is available on SEBA's website sebaonline.org, www.resultsassam.nic.in. In addition, some results websites like indiaresults.com are also providing results.
SEBA had to made changes in Social Science and Assamese papers following reports of question paper leak. Question papers of both the subjects were leaked in Hojai and Baksa districts, said report. The incident came to light first when Social Science and Assamese papers were distributed to students instead of Mathematics.
In 2016, the pass percentage was 62.79 per cent. Out of 3,81,585 students, 2,39,614 passed. The pass percentage for boys was 64.11 per cent against against 61.56 per cent of girls.

Secondary Education Board of Assam, popularly know as SEBa is the primary custodian of high school level education in the state. SEBA looks after the development, promotion, monitoring and expansion of high school education in the state for students' upto class 10. The Board also organizes the annual Assam High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) Exam every year in the month of February – March.
