Bangladesh: Police arrest COO of e-commerce form e-Orange

Dhaka: Aman Ullah, Chief Operating Officer of , has been arrested. Law enforcers have arrested him from the Gulshan area around 9:30 pm on Wednesday. Gulshan police inspector (investigation) Mohammad Aminul Islam confirmed the information to the media.

Earlier, the court banned five people, including Sonia Mehjabin, owner of company E-Orange, and her husband Masukur Rahman from leaving the country.

The order was passed by Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury after a hearing on Wednesday. The other accused are Amanullah, Bithi Akhter, and Kauser Ahmed.

It is learned that in the case of fraud and embezzlement of Tk1100 crore. The judge gave the order in light of the application.
