Evaly CEO Rassel says eager to refund customers

Dhaka: The CEO of the arrested e-commerce company , was being taken from the jail to the courtroom. When the journalist's asked if he wanted to return the money at the time, Rassel of Evaly replied to a question from a private television reporter that he wanted to return the money.

Rassel nodded in response to a reporter's question during a court hearing on Thursday (September 23rd).

When he was taken to court, the court denied his bail. The court rejected his remand application and ordered him to be sent to jail within three working days, next Tuesday, for questioning at the jail gate.

At the time, Rassel's lawyer, Barrister Moniruzzaman Asad, said lawsuits won't solve the problem. Getting out on bail will really solve the problem.

A large number of customers have gathered there to protest the news of Rassel being brought to court. They demanded Rassel's release to get his money back. Protesters say they will not be able to recover if Rassel is in jail. So the customers demanded his release to get the money back.

Earlier, on the night of September 15, RAB arrested the chairman and CEO of the company from Mohammadpur on the afternoon of September 16 after a customer named Arif Baker filed a case with Gulshan Police Station.
