Daraz Bangladesh launches online Qurbanir Haat

The initiative is intended to assist customers who lack the time or inclination to physically visit the cattle markets, as well as those who are fearful of further virus spread.

Dhaka — As a result of COVID-19 and its escalating consequences, visiting markets to buy and sell cattle has become an enormous risk. To provide a convenient solution during the crisis, , the country's largest online marketplace, has launched its own ‘Qurbanir Haat' powered by Shinex Floor Cleaner in the run-up to Eid-ul-Azha.

Customers can now participate in the festival's buying and selling activities from the comfort of their own homes, without fear of contamination. The online ‘‘ will enable customers to purchase their desired animal via the Daraz app by viewing images, videos, and details about the animal, such as its weight, age, breed, and colour.

The initiative is intended to assist customers who lack the time or inclination to physically visit the cattle markets, as well as those who are fearful of further virus spread.

Customers can simply visit ( Qurbanir Haat) and select from a large selection of cows and goats available until the lot is depleted.

Daraz's features a total of 1000 animals (700 cows and 300 goats), with prices ranging from BDT 55,000 to BDT 8,00,000. All animals raised under the banner are 100% organic and free of impurities.

The current online haat will run through July 16, 2021. Due to the limited time available, interested customers must act quickly. The online haat is offering discounts of up to BDT 6500 on cows and BDT 2,500 on goats, in addition to free shipping and Hassil.

Additionally, to ensure proper hygiene and sanitization, customers will receive a complimentary bottle of Shinex Floor Cleaner with each purchase. Additionally, there will be additional advantageous features for buyers, such as prepayment options.

Prior to the pandemic, temporary Cow Markets were set up in parks, streets, and other public areas. Regrettably, the stakes are particularly high this year due to the virus's increasing infection rate.

Daraz's initiative will enable customers to purchase their preferred cattle from the comfort of their homes with just a few clicks, thereby preventing further infection.
