Low-end smartphone maker is all set to launch two new based on Android Oreo platform during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 which is being held in Barcelona from February 26 to March 1, 2018. The two tablets named as and run on quad-core MediaTek processors with 1 GB RAM and they have been priced aggressively to focus on low-end of the market. In fact, they are cheaper than the . While 1T 7 is a 7-inch tablet with price tag of €70, the 1T 10 is a 10-inch tablet with price tag of €100.

Both the tablets do not support 802.11ac Wi-Fi, which has been standard for years now. This is something that many users are likely to find quite strange given the fact that home broadband speed is increasing. The specification and features for both the tablets is more or less same except their display size – the 7 has a 7-inch 1024 x 600 display, and the 10 has a 10-inch 1280 x 800 display. Both the tablets come with Kids Mode to ensure kids don't get sore eyes. The Eye Care feature limits blue light and helps reduce eye fatigue as well.

Both tablets have plastic body. Their display quality is average. Overall, it seems to be an average tablet with no super performance for low-end of the market. The only attracting thing its price.

Alcatel 1T 7

Priced at €70, Alcatel 1T 7 come with a 7-inch LCD screen. It runs on Android 8 Oreo and it is powered by quad-core MediaTek processors with 1 GB RAM. The device has 2,580mAh battery that Alcatel claims to offer 7 hours usage. The device weight 245 grams.

Alcatel 1T 10

Priced at €100, Alcatel 1T 10 comes with 10-inch LCD screen. The device is powered by quad-core MediaTek processors with 1 GB RAM and it runs on Android 8 Oreo. It weighs 425 grams with 4,000mAh battery that offers 8 hours battery life.

Both the devices are expected to be in the market in March 2018. There is no update right now as to when these tablets will be made available in India.
