Sun Pharma information security head Ranjan Revandkar joins HDB Financial Services as CISO

Ranjan will now be responsible for the  HDB Financial Services cybersecurity and risk management sectors.

has left to take a position as Chief Information Security Officer at Services. HDB Financial Services is a non-bank financial institution that provides financial services to both individuals and businesses. HDB Financial Services Limited is a subsidiary of HDFC Bank with about 1400 branches.

Ranjan will now be responsible for the financial services company's cybersecurity and risk management sectors. He formerly worked for India's pharmaceutical behemoth Sun Pharma for nearly four years, most recently as Head-Information Security.

Ranjan has more than 14 years of professional experience, having previously worked for RBL Bank, Kotak Mahindra Bank, and HDFC Bank.

Ranjan graduated from the University of Mumbai with a bachelor's degree in engineering. Additionally, he holds a postgraduate diploma in management and a certificate in cyber law.
