After passing these steps, we will be able to finalize the policy and submit it to the ministry. This will take some time.”

The policy was drafted almost two years ago to regulate illegally operated electric vehicles, especially easy bikes, across the country.

The Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) did that. This time the discussion on the new policy started based on that draft.
