Dhaka: The Posts and Telecommunications Minister Mustafa has said that has sown the seeds of digital even while standing on the rubble of war.

Following this, he made Bangladesh capable of leading the fourth industrial revolution, the minister said. The minister made the remarks while addressing a virtual discussion organized by the Government ICT Officers Forum on the occasion of National Mourning Day on the night of August 15.

Government ICT Officers Forum President Sharmin Afroz presided over the function. Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Water Resources Kabir Bin Anwar, Director General of Bangladesh Shilpa Kala Academy Liaquat Ali Lucky and General Secretary of the organization Md. Ratan spoke.

The minister also mentioned that Bangabandhu could not establish the expected golden Bengal without skilled human resources.

He said that in just one and a half years, he has taken more than one hundred and fifty-five special initiatives as he has received from me so far.

He said that today's Bangladesh is moving forward at an irresistible pace by relying on this foundation holding the hand of its worthy successor Sheikh Hasina.

Mentioning that Bangabandhu never compromised on the question of the rights of Bengalis, the Minister said that different forces were involved in the assassination of Bangabandhu in different ways.

He has set a goal to establish 21st-century education, communication technology, exploitation, deprivation, non-discrimination – hunger-poverty-free Sonar Bangla.

The speakers highlighted at the webinar various aspects of Bangabandhu's colorful life and said, “We have to work for the establishment of Sonar Bangla of his cherished dream by achieving the goal of establishing Sonar Bangla by following Bangabandhu's ideals.”
