Dhaka — The State Minister for Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Zunaid Ahmed Palak has said that 64 Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Centers are being set up across the country to showcase the contribution of the talented Sheikh Kamal to every youth in the country.
A Liberation War and Sheikh Kamal Digital Corner will be established in each centre. He mentioned that the colourful and active life of Sheikh Kamal will be highlighted in this digital corner.
On Thursday, the eldest son of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, one of the pioneers of modern sports and cultural movement in Bangladesh, on the occasion of the 72nd birth anniversary of the heroic freedom fighter, Captain Shahid Sheikh Kamal, Singra Upazila Chhatra League He said this in his speech.
Palak said a Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Center is being set up in each district under the direction of Sajeeb Wazed Joy, architect of Digital Bangladesh, a worthy grandson of Bangabandhu.
He said that at the age when Sheikh Kamal jumped into the war of liberation, played a role in modernizing art, literature, culture and sports, boys and girls of the same age passed SSC-HSC and got 6 or 12 months certificate or diploma from the incubation center. By doing the course, one will be able to create self-employment in one's own city.
The State Minister said that by 2041, these 64 Sheikh Kamal IT Training and Incubation Centers will create self-employment opportunities for more than 5 lakh youth by training more than 1 million youth.
Palak said Sheikh Kamal was a sports organizer with a simple life and high thoughts. He highlighted the contribution of Sheikh Kamal in art-literature-culture and sports. At the same time, Sheikh Kamal outlined plans to set up a memorial football academy in Singra.
