Xiaomi launches Redmi 9 Power in India priced at Rs 10,999

has launched in India at an introductory price of Rs 10,999, which will go on sale on December 22, 2020, via Mi.com and Mi Home stores.

It is the first Xiaomi Redmi phone to pack a 6,000mAh battery with support for fast charging. The other features include a big 6.53-inch FHD+ display, 48MP primary rear camera and stereo speakers.

To be available in four colours including Mighty Black, Fiery Red, Electric Green and Blazing Blue, the is paired with Adreno 610 GPU, 4GB RAM and up to 128GB storage.

For Rs 10,999, Xiaomi will sell the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model. On the contrary, the 4GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration will cost Rs 11,999. The device can also be bought from Amazon India's website.

Redmi 9 Power comprises an Aura Power design and a waterdrop-style notched display. The panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor.

Xiaomi bundles 22.5W fast charger in the box. The device also has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

There is a quad rear camera setup at the back. The smartphone comes with a 48MP primary rear camera. The other cameras in the setup are an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and 2MP macro and depth sensors. On the front, Xiaomi has added an 8MP camera for selfies.

In terms of connectivity, the smartphone has a headphone jack, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi (2.4GHz and 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.0, dual SIM slot and GPS support. In addition, the handset is splash-proof.
