Tecno is all set with its first sale of the Pova series of smartphones that will go live on 11th December, 2020 via at 12 noon. The 4GB with 64GB variant will be available at a price of Rs 9,999. Consumers, however, can avail an instant discount of flat Rs 750 off on debit and credit cards, a statement said.

Currently, Techno Pova comes with a MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor, an in-built hyper engine gaming technology and a 6000 mAh battery with 18W dual IC fast charge. Apart from this, it also houses a 6.8-inch dot-in display with 20.5:9 aspect ratio and 640 x 720 HD+ resolution. The MediaTek Helio G80 processor with LPDDR4X high-speed memory allows for a smoother smartphone experience, the statement claimed.

The smartphone is equipped with a quad-camera set-up of 16 MP + 2MP + 2MP + AI lens complemented with a ‘super quad flash'. The multi-AI photography modes like bokeh, macro, slow motion, short video, 2K video recording, AI body shaping, google lens, document scanner altogether enhance the smartphone's photography experience. The MediaTek Helio G80 processor with AI processing capabilities enables one to capture bright photos even in low-lit conditions. It also supports slow-motion videos at 120 fps continuous recording at 720p HD Quality.

The phone is available in three colour variants: dazzle black, magic blue and speed purple.

With the launch of Tecno Pova, China-based Tecno Mobile will rival other budget smartphones in India like Xiaomi's Redmi 9 and Realme Narzo 20. The company already offers a range of affordable phones in the country such as Tecno Camon 16 and Tecno Spark Power 2 series.
