Caller identification app Truecaller said that it has reached the mark of 250 million monthly active users and 200 million daily active users globally. The app has 200 million daily active users, of which 150 million are from India, Truecaller said in a statement.
India continues to be the company's home market with a majority 185 million monthly active users and over 150 million daily active users. Since the beginning of the year, Truecaller has increased its active users with more than 40 million users despite the pandemic, said the company.
Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, with offices in Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Mumbai and Nairobi, Truecaller is primarily used for caller ID.
