Another key feature of the report has been on data literacy. The report considers it to be key for graduates to ensure they have jobs. The report also highlights that Indian professionals make up the largest amount of data scientists in Singapore. Since 2017, 22% of data scientists that migrated to Singapore came from India.

With 45% of Indian professionals considering themselves data literate as per the recent Qlik Data Literacy Survey, we are confident that jobseekers across the country will realize the unparalleled opportunity that data literacy presents to them as they continue to equip themselves with the requisite data skills to put their careers on a high-growth trajectory,” said Arun Balasubramanian, MD, Qlik India.
