Homegrown two-wheelers and three-wheelers manufacturer TVS Motor has launched a new 110cc commuter motorcycle called aimed at people looking for a technology-driven bike under budget. Priced at Rs 48,400, the newly launched motorcycle comes with a solid body with steel tubular chassis and promise to provide better grip and comfort to the rider.

As far as smart features are concerned, the TVS Radeon is equipped with synchronized braking technology, which provides better braking control and minimises skidding leading to the enhanced safety of the rider. In addition, the side-stand indicator is equipped with a beeper to avoid accidents. Also, the larger 18 size wheels coupled with the dura grip tyres provide better grip and comfort for the rider.

On the seat front, TVS Radeon boasts of a largest cushioned seat in the segment, both in terms of length and width but this has been standard in the industry. The motorcycle has telescopic oil damped front suspension and a 5-step adjustable rear hydraulic shock absorber. The bike comes with a long wheelbase of 1265 mm coupled with the high ground clearance of 180 mm. TVS Radeon has a low seat height, self-start and handy functional features like a USB charging spot and pillion grab-rail.

The motorcycle boasts of a horizontal design with chrome ascents. The headlamp, with a chrome bezel, is integrated with DRL (Daytime Running Lamps). The petrol tank has ribbed thigh pads, a chrome finished speedometer, shock absorber shroud and silencer.

The innard is powered by a 109.7cc Dura-Life engine, which is designed to offer an optimum combination of power and fuel economy. The motorcycle churns out 8.4 PS of power at 7000 rpm with a torque of 8.7 Nm at 5000 rpm. TVS Radeon is equipped with 10-liter tank and clocks a fuel economy of 69.3 kmp, said the company.

TVS Radeon comes in White, Beige, Purple and Black colours and offers a 5-year warranty. Overall, TVS Radeon is a decent motorcycle with a strong engine and offers comfort under the budget.
