XPS 13 has been launched in India. Priced at Rs 84,590, the comes with a 13.3-inch borderless InfinityEdge touch display and is backed by the Intel 8th generation core processors. Company claimed that InfinityEdge display maximizes screen space by squeezing a 13.3-inch display in an 11-inch form. Dell XPS 13 is 5.2 mm thin with the weights of 1.22kg and 9-15 mm thickness.

Company said that the XPS 13 has the manageability and security features of Latitude in a thin and competitive form factor. The XPS 13 is available in India in silver color. Dell XPS 13 comes with borderless InfinityEdge display, with a 5.2mm bezel on the top and both sides and weighs between 2.7lbs (1.2kg), 2.9lbs (1.29kg).

The Dell XPS 13 body is made of machined aluminum, carbon fiber and hardened Corning Gorilla Glass NBT. It also has a palm rest, made of carbon fiber. Dell XPS 13 is embedded with IPS wide-viewing angles, which allows one to enjoy 170° views on a 400-nit screen.

Company claimed that Dell Dynamic power mode with new 8th generation processors delivers up to 44% improved performance over 7th gen processors. The Dell XPS 13 comes with Killer 1535 Wireless-AC, which provides Wi-Fi connection and is designed specifically to make online videos, voice and games play faster and smoother, said Dell.

The XPS 13 features a new Thunderbolt 3 port, which is the newest generation of Type-C connectivity, enabling up to 8x the transfer speeds of USB 3.0 at up to 40Gbps and is twice as fast as Thunderbolt 2. With an UltraSharp Quad HD+, the display boasts an a 5.7 million pixels. That is 4.4 million more pixels than an HD+ and 2.5 times that of a Full HD display.

The Dell XPS 13 is also ENERGY STAR qualified. It's EPEAT Gold registered14 and BFR/PVC-free15, free of materials like cadmium, lead, mercury and some phthalates. Dell XPS 13 is now available for purchase in India at a starting price of Rs 84,590 on www.dell.co.in, at select Dell Exclusive Stores, Croma and Reliance Digital outlets
