The second term December 2017 examination for first year and second year conducted by Department of Higher Secondary Examination (DHSE), Government of Kerala begins today. The second terms which is being held from December 12 to December 22 will have two shifts. The morning shift of Kerala DHSE Second term December 2017 exam starts at 9.30 AM and afternoon session at 1.30 P.M. On Friday, the second session will be held at 2 pm.

As per time table of Kerala DHSE Second term December 2017 exam, the first day of the exam begins with Mathematics, Political Science, Sanskrit and Computer Application for first year and English Part 1 for second year. On the second day, exams will be held for Physics, History, Business Studies, Islamic History and Culture and Communicative English for first year and second language (part 2) and Computer Information Technology for second year.

Similarly, on the third day, test will be conducted for Geology, Home Science and Psychology for first year and Chemistry, Geography, Sociology, Sanskrit Sahitya, English Literature, Accountancy, Music and Anthropology for second year. According to DHSE, subject without practical will have 2 hours 45 minutes including 15 minutes cool off time. Subject with practical except Biology & Music will have –2 hours 15 minutes including 15 minutes cool off time.

Department of Higher Secondary Examination (DHSE), Government of Kerala is a nodal agency to conduct higher secondary in the state. The DHSE is envisaged as a central agency of the state government of Kerala seeking to promote all round development in Higher Secondary Education by establishing appropriate philosophies, adequate institutional network, effective administrative systems and well-qualified and motivated staff necessary to carryout academic and administrative responsibilities.
