SSC results schedule released for SSC CHSL 2016 Tier II, SSC Hindi Pradhyapak 2017, SS Junior Engineer 2015, SSC Stenographer 2017

The Staff Selection Commission () has released SSC results schedule as on September 25, 2017. Out of 25 recruitment examinations that it has conducted in 2016-17, results of 19 examinations have already been announced. The results of rest of 6 exams will be declared by the end of November, this year. As per the notification, SSC will release results for SSC CHSL 2016 Tier II, SSC Hindi Pradhyapak 2017, SS Junior Engineer 2015 and SSC Stenographer 2017 by the end of November.

SSC Results Schedule

Some of the examination whose results are pending are – Junior Hindi Translators, Junior Translators, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination 2017 (Paper-II); Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying and Contract) Examination-2015 (Final Result); Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination, 2016(Tier-II); Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 (Tier-I), Junior Engineer (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Quantity Surveying and Contract) Examination-2016 (Paper-II) and Stenographers' Grade C & D Examination-2017 (Written Examination Result).

All these examination were conducted in the year 2016-17 across the country. Millions of candidates have appeared in these examinations. Since, most of the SSC recruitment exams are done at different stages, so it takes time to declare the final results. For example, alone in CHSL Tier I 2016 examination which was conducted from January 7 to February 8, 2017. A total of 30, 57,993 candidates had appeared and of total, 53,201 candidates had qualified for the Tier II exam which was conducted on July 9. Similarly in other exams too large number of candidates have applied and are waiting for results.

As per the previously released schedule the result of Junior Hindi Translators, Junior Translators, Senior Hindi Translator and Hindi Pradhyapak Examination- 2017 (Paper-II) was to be announced on September 29 but now it has been deferred to October 16. In its notification, SSC stressed that these are firm date for declaration of results.

SSC is a government of India organisation. Its main task is to conduct recruitment examinations for various central ministries, departments and agencies. The parent department of SSC is Department of Personal and Training (DoPT). SSC is headquartered in New Delhi and it has seven regional centre at Allahabad, Mumbai, Kolkata, Guwahati, Chennai, and Bangalore. It also has two Sub- Regional offices at Raipur and Chandigarh. Over the last five year, SSC has evolved into a digitally driven organisation. Now, most of the examinations conducted by SSC are online based.
