SSC CGL 2017 Notification: CGL 2017 Tier I results on Oct 31, Tier II exam on Nov 10, 11, check at ssc.nic.in

The results for recently concluded CGL 2017 Tier I exam will be announced on October 31, said a notification. Once declared, the results will be made available on the website of SSC at ssc.nic.in. SSC CGL 2017 exam was conducted from August 5 to 23. A total of 30,26,599 aspirants have registered for SSC CGL 2017 Exam, out of those about 15 lakh candidates have appeared. Government aims to fill about 4733 vacancies in government departments with this recruitment test.

All the candidates who qualify in the first examination, popularly known as SSC CGL Tier 1 exam will be allowed to appear in Tier II examination. Tier II exam is scheduled to be held on November 10 and 11. SSC has already released the answer keys for SSC CGL 2017 Tier I exam. The candidate who clears Tier-1 examination, will go to the next level, which is Tier-II. A final selection list will be prepared based on SSC criteria and SSC CGL Tier-II result.

Through Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 (Tier-I), SSC fills non-technical Group ‘B' and Group ‘C' non-gazetted posts in various government departments and ministries. The SSC CGL Tier-1 and SSC CGL Tier-2 exam is conducted every year. All the candidate who have appeared in Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 (Tier-I) can check SSC CGL Tier 1 Results 2017 on October 31 at the official website of SSC – ssc.nic.in.

Fortunately, this year no major hiccup has happened and no case of paper leak was reported. As per the last update from SSC, the Commission has registered criminal cases against three candidates indulging in exam related malpractices which included two cases of impersonation and one case of cheating. The official notification for Combined Graduate Level Examination, 2017 (Tier-I) was released by SSC on May 16. A total of 4733 vacancies are to be filled by SSC CGL 2017 exam.

Steps to check SSC CGL 2017 Exam Tier 1 Result

  • Go to the official website of SSC at ssc.nic.in
  • Click on the link Result link in top menu bar.
  • Click on ‘Declaration of Result of Combined Graduate Level (Tier-I) Examination, 2017′
  • A pdf page containing list of candidates who have qualified for SSC CGL Tier 1 will open. Search your name in the list.
