SSC SI CPO Exam 2016: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the final result of recruitment examination 2016 for sub-inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and assistant sub inspectors in CISF on its official website – ssc.nic.in. About 4292 men, 489 women candidates have qualified for appointment in Delhi Police, BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBPF, SSB and CISF.
The SSC has conducted a re-examination (Computer based Examination) for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police, CAPFs and Assistant Sub-Inspectors in CISF Examination, 2016 (Paper-I) on 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th and 11th June, 2016, for only those candidates who had appeared in the SSC SI CPO Exam 2016 held on March 20, 2016.
The result of Paper-I was declared by the Commission on July 28, 2016. Paper-II of the SSC SI CPO Exam 2016 was held on December 18, 2016 for those candidates who qualified in PET/PST. Result of Paper-II was declared on January 31, 2017 for short listing candidates for Medical Examination. As per result of Paper-II, 10,575 (9,649-Male & 926-Female) candidates were declared qualified for appearing in Medical Examination.
Based on the merit-cum-preference, 4292 men and 489 candidates have been finally selected and allocated to the following posts:-
- A-Sub-Inspector in Delhi Police
- B-Sub-Inspector in Border Security Force (BSF)
- C-Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
- D-Sub-Inspector in Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF)
- E-Sub-Inspector in Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBPF)
- F-Sub-Inspector in Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB)
- G-Assistant Sub-Inspector in Central Industrial Security Force (CISF)
