Staff Selection Commission has recently released 'how to do' video for SSC MTS Exam 2017. Here are the 10 steps that you must know before you go for exam.

: Recently, the Staff Selection Commission, a government body that conduct examinations for released four minute video both in English and Hindi to give an overview of the SSC MTS Exam 2017 which is for the first time being conducted in online mode.

Although, the basic pattern of the exam remain same but appearance of candidates have completely changed now – it is no longer a paper and pen based. The video very eloquently presents the different options of computer based examination. On the basis of information available in the video, we have note down some of the key points that a candidate should not miss, else they will not be able to complete their SSC MTS Exam 2017.

SSC MTS Exam 2017

Step 1: The system requires two level of passwords to confirm candidate login details. First level is login for Test Administrator and the second level is candidate's login. Candidate's can only login to exam after the Test Administrator logs in with their password.

Step 2: Once the Test Administrator completes the first level login, the Login screen for candidate is displayed. The candidates will have to complete a sample test that will be similar to exam. To start the login session, on the login screen, candidate need to click start the exam before that one needs to ensure that they have their SSC MTS 2017 Admit card with them.

Step 3: Candidate will have to feed in their Roll No and Password. Once it is done, candidate information details would be displayed on the screen. Candidates needs to verify the details. If information is incorrect, it must be reported to invigilator.

Step 4: After confirming this, a candidate instruction screen would be displayed. Candidate can scroll to read entire instruction, which is advisable, do not skip it. After reading it, confirm that it has been read.

Step 5: After confirmation, candidate would be taken to sample test page. This page will display sample question both in English and Hindi. On the lower right pane, the Question Pallate section  is displayed. This section display the progress as candidate attempt each question.

Step 6: Each Legend for each question is displayed for below the Question Pallete  section. To revisit a question candidate need to click tag. The question is mark in orange.

Step 7: To remove the section, click de-tag. To clear an answer choice, click erase. Attempted questions are displayed in green. The question that has not been attempted are displayed in white.

Step 8: To move next question, click next question or to revisit, click previous question. Click ‘preview submit' to submit the sample test and attempt the main exam.

Step 9: The confirmation screen is displayed with sample exam results. Now, candidates need to click “get ready to start the exam,” to begin exam. Candidate can refer the mark section for mark awarded for correct and incorrect answer. On the upper right-corner, the Time is displayed which will indicate the duration and time left for the exam.

Step 10: The candidate will only be able to submit the final test when the planned time is met. Candidate gets the five minute before the exam completion. The system will auto submit once the time is up. The final page will show how many question a candidate has attempted or left. To exist the exam, candidate need to click ‘Exit' option.

If you miss any of the steps or do not pay attention to the the above steps, you are like to face difficulty. Since, SSC MTS Exam 2017 has limited time, it is advice to the candidate to practice it online as many time as possible to ensure that they don't get stuck to any of the steps on the day of exam.
