West Bengal Board of Secondary Education has declared WBBSE Madhyamik Pariksha Class 10 results today at 9 am. However, the results will be made available at the board official website – wbresults.nic.in at 10 am. Students who are eagerly waiting for their results can check results from board website. In addition, will also be available at results portals like indiaresults.com

The WBBSE Madhyamik Pariksha Class 10 exams were held from February 22 to March 3. According to reports, over 10 lakh students have appeared for the WBBSE Madhyamik Exam 2017. Last year, around 11.4 lakh students had appeared for the WBBSE Madhyamik Pariksha Class 10 exams, out of which 54.59% were girls and 79.62% of them could clear the exams. 86.34% boys passed the exams.

Last year exams was topped by Souvik Barmam of Mathabhanga High School, Cooch Behar who had scored 683 marks out of 700.

The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE) is a statutory body that conducts Class 10 examination in the state. All government and private schools in the state come under the purview of the board.

Like other states, in West Bengal, primary education is from Class – I to IV and secondary education is from Class – V to X (Junior High or Upper Primary stage is from class – V to VIII and High School stage is Class – IX and X) and Class-XI and XII constitute the Higher secondary stage.

The entire school education system has a dual control. According to government, the syllabus and curriculum as well as final evaluation are administered by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education, West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, West Bengal Council for Higher Secondary Education & West Bengal Council of Rabindra Open Schooling in their respective areas. The recognition and affiliation parts are also looked after by the autonomous bodies under the overall guidance of the School Education Department.

  • Go to official website – wbresults.nic.in.
  • Click on West Bengal Board of Secondary Education Examination -2017.
  • Enter your roll number and other details.
  • After submitting the form, the results will be displayed.
  • Get a print copy and save it digitally for future references.
