Organising an India Cloud Forum in Mumbai today, the global technology giant IBM said, it continues to see growth and expand footprint in India. Giving a broad overview of the partnership it has been able to make in last one year, IBM said, “With over 55 cloud centers in 19 countries; is the leader in Enterprise Cloud.”

Company informed that there are currently 4,000 different start-ups utilising on IBM Cloud and it runs more than 100 billion transaction a day on IBM systems and offers 160+ cloud services across cognitive, , blockchain, data.

During India Cloud Forum today, company announced partnership with and . According to IBM, Kalyan Jewellers is collaborating with IBM to design and deploy ‘Store-2-Door', a custom-built iOS based mobile app on to improve how the jewellery retailer and its staff engages with customers.

Using the Store-2-Door app on iPad, Kalyan sales associates at MyKalyan Stores across 17 states will be equipped with immediate access to customer data on Kaylan's core databases helping them to offer personalised and interactive services to customers purchasing Kaylan jewellery.

On the other hand, Honda Cars plans to leverage Watson IoT on IBM Cloud platform for ‘Honda Connect', the company's connected car service, said IBM.

In addition, recently, Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management – Kerala (IIITM-K) has partnered with IBM to develop a real-time water quality management system – ‘Swatchpaani'. The system, powered by IBM's Watson Internet of Things (IoT) technologies and IBM Cloud, will continuously monitor water quality and measure temperature, pH and the presence of various metal/non-metal substances in the water to ensure standard levels are not exceeded as prescribed by agencies, said IBM.

Also, Aditya Birla Online Fashion ( Abof) selected IBM to deliver a personalised and convenient shopping experience. With this new feature, shoppers can now interact and ask natural language questions about abof's unique product assortment, receiving custom responses to their inquiries.

Company has done more than a dozen such partnership in last one year in India.
