CBSE : The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is likely to release the  soon, said reports. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) for undergraduate admission to MBBS and BDS were held on May 7, 2017. Once released, CBSE NEET answer key 2017 will be available at .

According to report about 11,35,104 students who have registered for the exams, have appeared for CBSE NEET 2017. The results are likely to be announced on June 8, 2017. Some of the students who appeared for NEET 2017 had earlier said that overall paper was ‘Ok' except Physics, which many students said was tough.

Some of the independent coaching centres had already uploaded question paper with answers. But board usually take time in uploading keys and now it is likely to release it on its website on June 15.

CBSE NEET 2017 Syllabus and Exam Pattern

The NEET 2017 exam was of three hours duration and contained 45 questions from each section – Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology – totaling to 180 questions. The questions were of multiple choice question (MCQ) type with four choice of answers and carries four marks. The maximum mark for the exam is 720 and for each incorrect answer, one mark will be deducted from the total score. The language of the question was English and Hindi.

CBSE NEET 2017 Exam Date, NEET 2017 Exam Analysis

The NEET 2017 was conducted on Sunday, 7th May, 2017. The responsibility of the CBSE is limited to the conduct of the entrance examination, declaration of result and providing All India Rank for the conduct of counselling for 15% All India Quota Seats and for supplying the result to state and other counselling authorities.

CBSE NEET 2017 Cut-Off, NEET 2017 Counselling

NEET – UG is an entrance examination for students who wish to study any graduate medical course – MBBS or BDS in government or private medical colleges in India. NEET- UG replaces the All India Pre Medical Test (AIPMT) and all individual MBBS exams conducted by states or colleges themselves.

Undergraduate courses at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, Postgraduate Institute for Medical Education and Research in Chandigarh, Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education & Research JIPMER are outside the NEET's purview.

CBSE NEET 2017 Question Paper Analysis: Physics was ‘tough', rest was ‘OK'

As per regulations framed under the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 as amended in 2016 and the Dentists Act-1948 as amended in 2016, NEET – UG will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), for admission to MBBS/BDS courses in India in medical/dental colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India/Dental Council of India except for the institutions established through an Act of Parliament like AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry.
