CBSE board Class XII results 2017: Amidst much speculation and despite the confusion arising from Delhi High Court direction to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) to continue with its moderation of marks policy for Class X and Class XII board examinations for this year, CBSE is likely to announce Senior Secondary School Certificate (Class 12th) exam results for all region on May 28, said multiple reports.

Once announced, the results will be available online at , results.nic.in or indiaresults.com. In addition, CBSE board Class XII results 2017 will also be made available on SMS and IVR. Earlier many reports had suggested that CBSE board Class XII results 2017 could be announced on May 24, 2017 but CBSE has not officially confirmed any date yet.

Quoting a source, English Daily HT reported, “The results are not likely to be delayed. Even if we have to apply the moderation policy, it will not cause a lot of delay because everything is done scientifically.”

Earlier an official had said to newspaper that Class 12th results would not be delayed beyond May 27. Last year, results were announced on May 21, 2016. This year examinations were delayed due to Assembly polls in five states, however the board had said that it would be able to announce the CBSE Class 12 results 2017 and CBSE Class 10 results 2017 on time. Board is likely to announce Class 12th results tomorrow and Class 10th results on June 2.

In light of court ruling, Union Human resource development minister Prakash Javadekar has called a high-level meeting. It will be attended by CBSE chairman Rakesh Kumar Chaturvedi and Department of School Education and Literacy secretary Anil Swarup, among others. In all likelihood, a decision on the announcement of results would be taken in this meeting.

According to reports, as many as 10.98 lakh students have appeared for the Class 12 exams this year which were conducted in the month of March and April.

How to check CBSE board Class XII results 2017

  • Go to government websites – cbseresults.nic.in, results.nic.in or indiaresults.com
  • Click on CBSE Class 12th examination results 2017 (Link will go live once results are announced)
  • Enter your roll number and other details.
  • After submitting the form, the results will be displayed.
  • Get a print and save it digitally for future references.
