Tamil Nadu School Education Department will announce the results for TNBSE HSC Class 12 Results 2017 today (May 12) at 10 am. Earlier  the department had notified that HSC +2 examination results will be declared on May 12 at 10 am. “HSC +2 Examination Results Expected on 12th May 2017 at 10:00 Hrs.” said a notification on the government website. The TNBSE HSC Class 12 Results 2017 are will be available at tnresults.nic.in.

The examinations for TNBSE HSC Class 12 were conducted in the month of March and according to reports, the paper evaluation began on April 6 and was completed on April 22 2017. Like other education boards, TN Board offers courses for secondary and senior secondary in subjects like arts, commerce, science and vocational courses.

Board of Secondary Education and Board of Higher Secondary Examinations were merged in 2011 to create a single Board for School Examination in Tamil Nadu. TNBSE conduct examinations for Class 10th and Class 12th in the state.

The Directorate of Government Examinations which is the parent body of TNBSE is responsible for conducting these exams. It has has 7 regional offices at Madurai, Coimbatore, Tiruchirappalli, Tirunelveli , Chennai, Cuddalore and Vellore. Apart from the academic stream examination in academic fields, this department is conducting various vocational stream examinations also. At present this department in conducting exams for about 25 lakh students every year.

To check TNBSE HSC Class 12 Results 2017, students will have to go to board results website tnresults.nic.in. On the website, they need to click on HSC +2 Examination Results and enter their roll number and other details asked there. After submitting the details, results will be displayed. Student can get a print or digitally save it for future reference.
